This week my goal was to try to carve the head with the 4-axis CNC. I used a 2" wide piece of pine dowel (home depot) because I couldn't find a piece of hardwood in time.
The CNC was perfect for what I was trying to achieve, next time I would like to use a hardwood like cherry or maple to achieve the final look.
I then cut the head off with a hand saw. I sewed a somewhat nicer body than last week to attach the head, but it still needs ALOT of work shopping. I want the final plush part to look clean and nice. I have been experimenting with different fabrics like the denim and leather pictured here, especially because I want it to have a stiff body.
