Audio Performance concept:
Because I am more interested in the physical real vs. the digital realm, I wanted to brainstorm a way to bring the two together that would allow me to have a little but more fun beyond my screen. Pat and I had discussed recording samples of physical homemade instruments/sounds and then manipulating those in max to create some sort of composition. When trying to think of a more structured idea, I thought about David Bryne's "Playing the Building". He took a whole warehouse and created "instrument" with various parts of the structure and was able to control them from a central keyboard. Similarily, I think we could create those sounds physically and sample them and max and create our own instrument/synthesizer in max with unique sounds.
